Taman Anggrek Bali


Pecinta bunga beserta keindahannya tentu tak ingin melewatkan momen langka berkunjung ke Taman Anggrek Bali atau Bali Orchid Garden. Taman hias yang terletak di Jalan By Pass Tohpati, Kesiman Kertalangu, Denpasar Timur ini menyuguhkan lingkungan alami lewat pemandangan koleksi anggrek nan menyejukkan mata.

Bali Orchid Garden berada di bawah pengelolaan dan pengembangan PT Anggrek Anyar bersama dua petani profesional, David dan Dorothy Dowd. Taman ini berkomitmen melestarikan spesies anggrek Indonesia, khususnya jenis-jenis langka.

Kehadiran bunga tropis yang indah dan mekar sepanjang tahun ini membuat wisatawan seperti berada di taman surga. Jenis-jenis yang ditanam, antara lain Doritis pulcherrima, Coelogyne speciosum, Coelogyne pandurata, Phalaenopsis amabilis, Cattleya Netpasari, Cymbidium finlaysonium, Rhynchostylus retusa, dan Dendrobium antennatum.

Salah satu anggrek primadona di kebun ini adalah Coelogyne pandurata, lebih dikenal dengan sebutan anggrek hitam atau black orchid. Tak hanya anggrek, taman ini juga ditanami jenis bunga langka, seperti Cordylines, Bromeliads, Heliconia, Aroids, dan Nepenthes. 

Kebun terbuka ini menawarkan layanan lansekap, mulai dari tur kebun anggrek, pengarahan khusus tentang bertanam anggrek, hingga berkunjung ke toko suvenir berisi aneka anggrek yang dijual dan bisa dibawa pulang. Jalan setapak beraspal menjadi jalur pengunjung berkeliling taman. Jika lelah, pengunjung bisa singgah dan bersantai, sembari menikmati minuman kopi luwak di restoran. 

Staf ramah membantu pengunjung mengenal aneka jenis puspa langka ini. Tak hanya wisatawan domestik, wisatawan mancanegara yang berminat juga bisa membawa pulang koleksi anggrek ke negara asal yang dikemas aman sedemikian rupa.

Bali Orchid Garden is under the management and development of PT Anggrek Anyar together with two professional farmers, David and Dorothy Dowd. This garden is committed to preserving Indonesian orchid species, especially rare species.

The presence of beautiful tropical flowers that bloom all year round makes tourists feel like they are in a paradise garden. One of the star orchids in this garden is Coelogyne pandurata, better known as the black orchid. In addition to orchids, this garden is also planted with rare flower species, such as Cordylines, Bromeliads, Heliconia, Aroids, and Nepenthes.

This open garden offers landscape services, ranging from orchid garden tours, special instructions on orchid cultivation, to visiting a souvenir shop that sells various orchids that can be bought and taken home. Paved walkways are the paths for visitors to walk around the garden. If tired, visitors can stop and relax, while enjoying a cup of luwak coffee at the restaurant.

Friendly staff help visitors to learn about the various rare orchid species. Not only domestic tourists, foreign tourists who are interested can also bring home orchid collections to their home countries that are packed safely.
